I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's unique decor and spacious public areas, beautifully designed and really accessible. The staff provided thoughtful assistance.

had really really nice stay on a business trip with extremely accommodating staff and incredible location in great restaurant great art. location: the hotel was just next door to an alley and the waterfront and many sights. i tried some drinks at bar urban cellars, located 5 minutes walk away.

The staff was incredible, as for 4-stars hotel. Its location relatively close to Detroit Riverfront was great and incredible. This property was located in a beautiful area.

the shower door design was awkward.

The hotel, a former fire station, has great character, and my room was spacious with a luxurious shower. They quickly got me fresh coffee to go when I mentioned my early departure. The bar had a solid cocktail menu, perfect for winding down after a long day. The restaurant prices felt a bit steep for what's offered. The shower design could use some work, as the door was awkward. There was also some noise from the adjoining restaurant during the evening, which could be distracting. The charm of the hotel stood out, though a few tweaks could enhance the experience.

Single travelers expect luxury

Had a huge room, much bigger than I thought, with a comfy bed that hit like a cloud. They sent ice up to my room right after I called for it! Nice touch, really helps after a long day.

Wasn't exactly a bargain. But I guess good things come at a price.

Cool hotel, cool lobby, with a super nice restaurant and funky comfortable rooms, made our two-night stay enjoyable, especially being so walkable to Ford Field.

The location excels with everything within walking distance. The rooms exude unique character, reminiscent of a former fire station, and the lounge boasts an enticing cocktail menu. Dining options include gourmet salads. The absence of a breakfast option during an early checkout was a slight inconvenience, and the bar area was quite busy on arrival were nice.

The kids loved the 24-hour fitness center and were thrilled to ride the complimentary bikes to explore Detroit. Plus, the hotel had an amazing vibe.

I had an amazing stay! The unique historical charm is evident throughout, especially in the rooms, and the food at the restaurant was truly delicious. Just wish the shower door was better designed.

While the decor is charming and the staff friendly, the noisy fridge and outside nightlife made sleep challenging. Consider earplugs if you're sensitive to sound. The bar area offered a nice ambiance to unwind after a busy day.

The central location was fantastic, we stayed one night in a double room with large windows and drinks, the staff were friendly and attentive, it was all just perfect.
